1. 高分子电子材料设计 |
电子基础材料是电子工业发展的基石。聚合物电子材料在芯片制造、5G天线、电子部件连接、散热组件、柔性电子等方面占据主导作用,是现代电子轻量化、微型化发展的基础。课题组将热塑性材料、弹性体材料与新兴材料(例如金属材料)相结合,探索制备新一代电子基础材料,用于电子元件连接、柔性电子、电子设计、可穿戴设备、智能感应等领域。研究塑性与弹性高分子的力学形变与导电导热的相互科学联系,利用高分子的独特优势设计新一代的聚合物电子材料,探索潜在的科学内涵。课题组充分将理论与工业应用结合,研究该类电子材料的加工特点,致力于开发出具有市场潜在价值的聚合物电子基础材料。 |
2. 金属-高分子复合材料研究 |
基于高分子学科的热塑性材料(塑料、弹性体) 复合材料产业是现代国民经济中关键的支柱行业,在现代社会生产和生活中具有重要的地位,研究新型高端热塑性复合材料对我国经济发展以及制造业升级具有举足轻重的作用。目前,基于金属、碳材料的热塑性复合材料产品已经占据了大部分高分子复合材料的市场。课题组将研究基于金属-高分子的热塑性复合材料,探讨复合材料的界面科学问题、力学性能、流变行为以及相变特点的影响,从理论上设计新型的热塑性复合材料。本课题将涉及高分子化学,高分子物理以及高分子加工方面知识,联系理论与实际;致力于揭示复合材料结构-性能方面的理论关系,开发新一代高分子复合材料。

1. Polymer Composites for Electronics |
Electronic materials are the fundament for modern electronics. Polymers for electronics play important roles in chip fabrication, 5G antenna, adhesives of microelectronics, thermal materials, flexible electronics. The polymers for electronics are the key element to offer lightweight electronics within extremely small dimensions. Our group combines the thermoplastic materials with new conductive fillers (such as metals) to create a new generation of electronics for microchips, flexible sensors, and wearable devices. We will invesitage the fundamental connection between polymers and fillers to understand the structure-property relationship of the resulted electronics. Different electronic materials will be produced. We are also going to build tight connection between such polymeric materials with consumer electronics to provide modern industrial products. |
2. Functional Metal-Polymer Composites |
With tremendous applications in our daily lives and industry, thermoplastic composites are critically important in the world. Metal-polymer and carbon-polymer composites are the two of the most applied thermoplastic composites in industry, which combines the their advantages of mechanical, processing, and electrical features. Metal-polymer and carbon-polymer composites are broadly applied in the daily and industrial products, such as packaging, medical device, electronics and engineering component. In our group, we will investigate thermoplastic composites in diverse aspects, including their mechanical, rheological and phase transition behaviors, to design new types of functional composites. |
